For any woman who’s ever persevered

You are strong, strange woman, kindred spirit

The scars carved into your soul are beautiful

Reminiscent of the battles you’ve fought and survived

Mighty warrior, hold your head high

Wear your pride as a glorious robe

Blind the ones who would tear you down and bind you with the glaring fire you possess inside

Breathe in your worth, more precious than the purest air on the clearest night bottled up in a crystal vile

Don’t let them rob it from you

Let your intensity shine through your eyes and render those unworthy of their gaze paralyzed

Regal queen, expect nothing less than to be bowed down to, to be loved and adored for who you are and not for what you give

Only grace those with your presence who welcome your ferocity in its rawest form

Benevolent goddess you are passion in the flesh

Own it with the grace and dignity that flows through your veins

Brave creature of midnight

Silence them with your self-possession

Make them turn their heads as you soar through tops of trees and past the stars to the land of the Phoenix

That is where you belong

Amongst the most resilient

There is where you were born

And there is where you will always live

About samlobos

I am an avid fan of creating narratives in my head about random experiences and quotes for future books I will probably not write. I harbor a 15 year old girl in my psyche and like to solve world issues when I'm half asleep. View all posts by samlobos
